Today Leslie Hindman is auctioning close to 800 designer and couture garments originally worn in the EBONY Fashion Fair. Right now, as we type this she's currently in the Christian Lacroix lots, which is almost half way through. Already there has been some amazing pieces fetching far more than the estimate and the bidding hasn't even started on Issey Miyake, pre-Chanel Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent. Some gowns are going for more than forty times the estimate. Above is a gallery of highlights thus far; click through for designers, estimates and the sold price. Still want in? You can find the entire collection up for auction here.
