Boticario de Havana Bath Oil, $24 at Archipelago

Vegas is a polarizing place. You either love it or loathe it, and while I don't exactly fall into the "love" category I find myself there a lot—mostly because it's relatively close to LA, it's the site of massive fashion tradeshow Project, and apparently I never learn. On a trip there last month, I was killing time at the Hard Rock Casino before meeting friends for dinner at Nobu, no big deal. I wandered into the Hard Rock gift shop and while sadly and lackadaisically browsing the shelves came across a bottle of Boticario de Havana Bath Oil.

The oil is actually a concoction of orange oil, coffee oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, tobacco flower, sugarcane, and pineapple that was supposedly inspired by "the bath soak of Havana's elite." Intrigued and in one of those "need to buy something" moods, I picked up a bottle despite its somewhat high cost of $26. Because what's good enough for Cuba's dons is good enough for me, right?

The bath oil turned out to be the best thing to come out of the trip. Not only does it feel super-moisturizing, it also smells incredible. It perfumes your entire bathroom and any garment you don after your soak. The scent is somewhat tropical, somewhat musky and is definitely unisex (a bonus if you share your place with a dude). The best thing of all is you don't have to subject yourself to Vegas and a night at the Hard Rock to get it. You can order it on the Archipelago site for $24.
