Right here in Chicago, in Roscoe Village three (good looking) doctors are basically taking the medical field by storm by founding ID Image and Design, which aims at making dentist and doctor's offices places that people actually want to go to, not avoid. And the spearhead behind this concept is Dr. Nourahmadi, a young, vibrant personality seeking to change traditional perceptions of dentistry starting with Novora.
Like any dentist's office should pride itself on aesthetics, Novora doesn't stop with teeth; they have created a beautiful studio fit with tricked-out ergonomic chairs, a client's own personal entertainment system and a more customized experience to make you feel more like you're at home or a swank hotel.
The opening event, which was a transition from the previous concept, Shining Smiles was aimed at presenting dental health as part of your beauty regimen. The end goal is to show that coming to Novora is just as luxurious and rewarding as buying make-up, getting waxed or going to the salon. And to prove the point, Dr. Nourahmadi included makeup, hair, skincare, fashion and workout gurus.
We know, it's a little far to travel for anyone in Lincoln Park, the Gold Coast or River North, but you may not have to wait much longer to have your own neighborhood beauty-focused dental studio. From what we hear, within the next few months, this new lifestyle concept will open an additional studio, which we speculate will be even more glam and in a high-energy district.
