Last week it was said that a major announcement was to come this week regarding the stores opening in The Fashion Outlets of Chicago, the biggest retail project to happen in Chicago in a very long time. So big you'll be able to see runway shows happening on the LED Screens from planes flying into O'Hare. Today, we bring you the latest from premier U.S. outlet developer and manager AWE Talisman and Macerich — the full list of stores to open on August 1, 2013.
The anchors of the 2-floor 530,000 square-foot mall, opening (presumably street level) are Bloomingdale's The Outlet Store, Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and Forever 21. From what we're told the second floor of the mall will be higher-end outlets ranging from Prada to J.Crew. But wait — there's more. We're talking Nike Factory Store, Halston, Herve Leger, Helzberg Diamonds, Hugo Boss, Allsaints, Andrew Marc, Brunello Cucinelli, Cole Haan, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, L.K. Bennett, Gucci and even Haagen Dazs.
In addition to all these super star shops, representing the tip top of the crop of 120 outlets, there's two fine dining restaurants; Prasino and Villagio and a first-level food court.
