No doubt, the only action worthwhile tomorrow evening will be a heartfelt showing of swooning young micro-philanthropists converging on a lofty showroom filled with the women and gentlemen who bring our fair metropolis such clout in the arena of style. It started with Kristina McGrath of McGrath Acura offering up the showroom for a shopping event with the Sun Times social section, SPLASH, eight great boutiques, three beauty brands and the one and only Ellen-approved nail artist Astrowifey.
Now after an outpouring of support from The American Heart Association, the event is climbing to heights of epic proportion. $10 less in your pocket offers you the opportunity to shop up-and-coming designer Atelier Azza, jewelry from Dana Rebecca Designs, designer clothing and accessories from Old Town boutique Luxury Garage Sale, eBay consignment company eDrop-Off, bags from custom handbag company Laudi Vidni, and SARCA, a shop so good it gives you goosebumps, among others. Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association, and the event runs 6-9PM.
