Katrin Schnabl, the German performance artist and dancer-turned fashion designer will be showing her Spring collection at Luminaire's new LuminaireX concept space this weekend. After working with Jil Sander and designing conceptually under her own label Miche Kimsa, she shifted gears in 2012 to become more aggressive in the industry by starting the namesake label, Katrin Schnabl.

This Saturday will be the first retail showing of the debut Katrin Schnabl collection which focuses its energy on modern shapes with peaks of energetic color. In addition to the retail installation, and in keeping with Liuminaire's promise of keeping LuminaireX fresh, Katrin has installed a series of artworks knitted from plastic membranes.
