RIVER NORTH - Open Books is selling 10,000 books for $1, $2 or $3 at their colorful, fabulous bookstore this weekend. All the profits will be used to fund Open Books many literacy programs that serve more than 4,000 CPS students. A competing developer is now suing the developer of the project saying that he poached the store from its original planned location on Clybourn at Cortland. [Crain's]
