Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
In all our environments, in order to create harmony and an individual identity, there's a need to mix organic and manufactured; contemporary and vintage or just layer ideas and concepts together. Racked 38 Member Roslyn has been known for doing this for years. It's just one of those Bucktown boutiques that knows how to make the coolest looks. So in that vein of layering and adding a unique organic they are hosting a temporary show for Mineralogy jewelry.
This coming Saturday, April 20th, designer Theresa Cowan is taking a break from preparing a European Fab Sale to set up her Spring collection and a large selection of one-of-a-kind pieces. We've pulled a few for you perusal here. These honest Mineral specimens stand alone by themselves as artifacts of nature, unpolished and raw but when worn with any trend-inspired outfit shine brighter than you can imagine. During the show all purchases over $100 will be entered into a drawing for a pair of stunning Mineralogy earrings or a perhaps delicate necklace.
