In need of a new hobby? Sifu Design Studio may have what you're looking for.
Anyone who has been to the store—either the previous Andersonville location or their new Edgewater storefront—knows it's a great place to buy high-quality yarns—but what some people don't know is that the studio also recently added a wide selection of classes.
Classes include five-week basic sessions "Learn to Embroider," "Learn to Knit," and "Learn to Crochet." For a more advanced experience, guests can choose courses that focus on creating specific items, from socks to cardigans. If you're interested in trying a class but don't want to commit to a full five weeks, individual workshops are available in classes like "Needle Felted Owl," which teaches students to make – what else? – an owl with a felting needle.
