Travelling McQueen Collection Hits Chicago

We may not have an Alexander McQueen store in Chicago (any chance of that opening soon?) but the designer's Spring 2013 shoe collection will be coming to our trusty Saks Fifth Avenue tomorrow for a four-day trunk show.

McQueen may be best known for iconic skull scarves and top-of-the-line couture gowns, but the line's shoes are definitely not to be ignored. The current set is everything we'd expect from the brand named for the late British designer: Curved, gravity defying stilletos, chunky perpex heels, even a cage sandal dotted with bold gold studs...nothing is too edgy for McQueen. This trunk show, at the Saks on Michigan Avenue, is sure to be a must-see.
