Broadway Antique Market sells a lot of things: Tables, wall hangings, chairs. But this weekend, the market brings something unexpected to its Edgewater store: Kittens.
The Broadway Antique Market will hold its first annual cat and kitten adoption event this Sunday, April 7, from noon-4 pm. The event is held in partnership with the Precious Pets Almost Home Association, an all-volunteer nonprofit.
About ten cats will be on hand in the store's lobby. Guests are welcome to stop in and see the animals. If they're interested in adopting, they're encouraged to fill out an application. The adoption process takes some time, but this is an ideal first step to take if you're interested in taking home a sterilized, defleaed, dewormed pet.
