Leading designer of fashion jewelry Swarovski has partnered with The School of the Art Institute of Chicago for the third year in a row as the presenting sponsor of Fashion 2013 and THE WALK, SAIC's 79th annual fashion show and benefit gala. For a second year, they've enlisted grad students from the Fashion, Body and Garment master's program to create a stunning window display at their Michigan Avenue flagship boutique.
In addition to offering retail space for the display, Swarovski has donated jewelry and crystals to three students to adorn their Fashion 2013 runway looks which you'll see this Friday. Drawing more attention to the partnership than the looks themselves, Swarovski has created a short video with the SAIC grad students and a few words from professor, performance artist and fabric sculptor Nick Cave.
