Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Frye boots and shoes are soon coming to Rush Street... and Boston and Washington D.C. this year. The Chicago flagship store will be the most important and will look most like the Soho flagship in New York. We first published a photo of that store here. This means lots of exposed brick, antique glass panels, distressed wood, wrought iron filtering and brassy gold accents. Think 'New England general store meets early 1900's classic NY flatiron cobbler'. [WWD; Previously]
