Chicago designer Jenna Zielbauer of Cotton Candy Couture and her husband Patrick Zielbauer are bringing a contemporary womenswear boutique to Damen on June 27, adding new flair to an already bustling shopping street.
The boutique's name, von Z pays tribute to Patrick's ancestors, who dropped the 'von' from their last name von Zielbauer to during their emigration out of Germany in the 1700s. As such, in addition to carrying fabulous domestic lines as well as Jenna's own brand Cotton Candy Couture (sold in boutiques nationwide), the boutique will incorporate established European designers like Bobi, Harlyn, Hunter Dixon, Pencey, Naven, oneoneseven, mata hari, Schutz shoes, Hazel, Dress The Population, Bardot, Blaque Label, Janessa Leone Hats and Alice & Trixie. Rounding out the shop's selection of apparel will be shoes, accessories, and (it only makes sense) sweet treats and foodstuffs. Prices are being clocking-in between $35 - $350.
