LOFT Opens Two-Level Concept on Michigan Ave This Week

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Summer style is about to become easier for shoppers on the Magnificent Mile starting this week. LOFT is launching a new concept--for the first time ever, the brand's storefront is comprised of a two-story footprint. One floor is dedicated to petites and styles in those hard to find tiny sizes. Similarly to the Ann Taylor store one block south, the experience has an interactive design with plenty of lounging social space for women to exchange ideas and shop curated displays of mannequins showing off suggestions for current ensembles.

This weekend, Friday, May 10 (opening day) you can stop by the store, which is right next to the new Tommy Bahama in the Ritz Carlton Residences, and score a free tote with a $75 purchase and try your luck at nabbing a $250 shopping spree and personal styling session.
