A lot of people don't realize that The Shops at North Bridge is multiple buildings with shops on Illinois, Michigan, Grand and Rush Street. The whole complex spans seven blocks. In the upscale mall's latest effort to become more accessible from the backside (Rush Street), there is a new massive entrance being built at the corner of Rush and Grand to open later this year. And for shoppers who like to eat, the mall will soon add food-focused names Eataly, Seasons 52 and Lao Sze Chuan to its already booming roster of 50 specialty stores and 20 restaurants.
