Kiehl's Skin Rescuer, $40.00
There's nothing sexy about skin care, but to explain what a revelation the Kiehl's Skin Rescuer was for my face, here's some back story: When I moved to a massive city a couple years ago, my typically calm and collected skin FREAKED OUT. I won't go into all the gory details, but know this: It was not good. For two years, I treated the issues to moisturizing mainstays, home remedies, super serious 12-step salves, etc., and the perfectly clear, dewy skin each advertised was far from what I received in return.
So when I was gifted the Skin Rescuer a few weeks ago, I wasn't expecting much. But straight off the bat, I noticed its consistency was perfectly balanced between matte and moisture, so there was no added shininess, and after about three days, gone was all the dullness and redness. I haven't broken out since I started using it, and I swear it even reduces the size of pores, which isn't even advertised on the bottle. The only problem is that it's $40 a hit, so try to grab a trial size at your local Kiehl's store to give it go before taking the plunge.
