Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Floral prints are big right now, but tonight's Fleurotica event takes it to the next level. At 7pm, the Museum of Contemporary Art transforms into a haute couture botanical garden. Models will take to the stage for a runway show dressed in garments made entirely out of flowers.
If you're one of the people who was lucky enough to snag tickets before sales closed, expect to enjoy aphrosdisiac-inspired cocktails, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, who is an honorary chair of the event. Proceeds from the evening will, as always, benefit the Garfield Park Conservatory.
