Year after year the freshest fundraiser in the city, Fleurotica makes bold headlines for The Garfield Park Conservatory. And this year's Fleurotica, which took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art last night was no different.
Thirty floral designers imagined and realized 'green' garments, almost totally comprised of flowers and organic elements and plastered them onto models and walked down a runway. This year's fundraiser was also the debut of a new media installation that connects sound and structure created by the artist duo of Luftwerk.
