Only months after opening a second shop at 900 North Michigan filled with a tightly curated selection of vintage and contemporary costume jewelry, Racked 38 Member Lulu's at the Belle Kay will close its original boutique on North Lincoln Avenue. Over the past ten years, owner Laurie Davis has strived to maintain a position in the vintage market nearly unmatchable to other purveyors around the country.
At any given time, while shopping at Lulu's at the Belle Kay, you'll see jewelry from the 1920's through the 1980's, a well edited collection of special occasion dresses and gowns, alternative bridal, furs and hats. Now, the shop is selling off some of it's fixtures, and in the next few weeks Laurie will moving select pieces of inventory to her shop at 900 North Michigan.
