Whether it be for a groomsman gift or for Father's Day, a full treatment manicure & pedicure makes a trendy and terrific gift. Taking good care of one's nails is is these days, and always in order--even for guys. Women pay attention to this type of thing and it's important to give nails attention every few days. A great groomsmen treat (think pre-bachelor party, at the hotel spa) is a mani/pedi, maybe with a little color. Just this week, the New York Times reported that 'Manly Manicures End in Color'.
Our advice for guys is to stay away from the clear and be bold. No red, however. Stick to muted shades. Greens, blues, and grays are fine and won't get you into trouble. Black is old school and inappropriately goth for a wedding, even if you think it match your tux. If your groomsmen are shy, or aren'tt tht flashy, they can always paint their toenails after a pedicure. In Chicago, you can head to Sir Spa in Andersonville with their range of Essie and OPI or, because it's a special occasion and you may ant to stay closer to The Loop, any one of these luxury hotel spa can hook you up.
