Tonight is the annual fundraiser for the Erikson Institute, which is known nationwide for specializing in early childhood education. This year's gala, hosted by boutique owner Ikram Goldman, and early childhood education advocates Cari Sacks and Kate Neisser honors David Hiller, president of the McCormick Foundation and features a concert with Pink Martini featuring singer Storm Large.

Marking the first time Pink Martini is playing for a benefit in Chicago, Ikram's camp tells us there will be 400 people attending who have contributed about $600,000 for Erikson thus far. Attorney General Lisa Madigan the Chicago's Deputy Mayor Steve Koch will be there as well as socialites Joan Harris, Harry Sachs, Robert and Marletta Darnall, Nora Daley, Susie Kiphart and Barbara Bowman who is one of the founders and co-chair of Erikson as well as Valerie Jarrett's mom.
