Does your dog like to dress up? Is your dog a star? Does your dog like to walk around? If you've answered 'yes' to one or more of these questions, your weekend itinerary just got more exciting.

This year for for Pride 2013, for the seventh year in a row, local celebutante Miss Foozie (one of the 17 drag queens performing) will spend her Sunday hosting the Pride Pet Parade and Costume Contest!

Starting at noon in front of the North Stage, Miss Foozie will register and kick off the pet parade in classic showgirl style. The participants will strut, wobble, and gallop to the South Stage for all fest-goers to see. Then at the end of the street, a well-dressed winner will be crowned, de-throwning last year's show-stopping presentation by Princess Leia and Darth Vader. Hot contenders for the 2013 crown are expected to be last year's chihuahua in a historical puritan costume, the pug fresh off the luau circuit in a stroller and the western-inspired jack-russell sheriff with his cowgirl.
