This week the larger than life-so-big-you-can-see-them-from-the-air letters spelling out "FASHION OUTLETS OF CHICAGO" were installed on top of the building that will set the standard in outlet mall shopping for the next decade.
This specific sign is facing Balmoral Avenue, and though it's not the only sign going on the building, it is the first. The letters are 12 feet high and are individually lit by LEDs which will give that distant beaming heavenly glow that calls you into the womb shown in the rendering we keep using.
