Local vintage boutique Dovetail will be hosting an event tomorrow night to honor three major players in Chicago's art scene. Among the honorees is Christina Anton, the brains behind BooandBooFactory, a line of neon statement jewelry; Cheri Charlton, a visual artist whose work has appeared at Dovetail for years, is another guest of honor.
The night will also spotlight ARS Shoes, a locally-made line of men's and women's sandals. This will serve as the line's debut, and if you're interested in snagging a pair of sandals, you'd better act fast: They'll only produce five looks and only two versions per size, per piece will be released. The party will go from 7 to 10pm at the Noble Square storefront.
