Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Lolla is only a few weeks away, and those weeks are scattered with other music fests and street fairs. So naturally we're all wondering (okay, stressing) about what we'll wear to the outdoor fetes. They can be tricky. After all, you can't don your go-to LBD to one of these outdoor parties, and there's a distinct emphasis on street style.
If you're stumped, check out this video of CelebTV's Kelli Zink and GILT City's Nicole Banks discussing their do's and don'ts of festival fashion. Talking points include wearing scarves in sweltering temps (why?), the fact that a stylish fanny pack—though hard to find—is the perfect fest accessory and whether or not girls should wear high heels to Lolla (please make it stop.)
