It's time again for Glamorama, a massive fashion to-do hosted by Macy's. The event returns to our city on August 9 and will be hosted by the Harris Theater.
Tickets are on sale now, and they aren't cheap: They'll run you anywhere from $75 to $1,000, depending on which package you choose. The most extravagant option will earn you the entire VIP experience, from prime seating at the show to admittance to the VIP section of the show's afterparty at the Rooftop Terrace at Millennium Park. If you choose the $75 option, you're only getting performance seating—but consider that the show will include performances from Sheryl Crow, Cirque Du Soleil and The Summer Set.
As for the fashion, you'll see looks from Diesel, Tommy Hilfiger, Weekend by Max Mara, Maison Jules and John Paul Gaultier. Proceeds from the event benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities or Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
