Outdoor clothing and gear resource Patagonia has announced that eight of its stores will participate in the brand's Worn Wear program, and our very own Lincoln Park outpost is among the selected.
So what exactly is this program? It's a partnership with Common Threads, and it works to reduce the company's carbon footprint by encouraging the reuse of the brand's clothing. Participating locations encourage customers to recycle the contents of their wardrobe by bringing used items into the store and trading them in for new goods. Any pre-worn items that are in good condition will be traded for 50% of its resale value in store credit.
