Transistor Chicago, former fixture in the North Center area, has moved to Lakeview. According to DNAInfo, the store sells items that will appeal to those with artistic bents such as records and art books.
About a month ago, we told you that the store was looking for funding from store fans via IndieGoGo. Now the transition from North Center to East Lakeview is complete.
The store allegedly also includes a space for film screenings, music performances and classes. According to the web site, the new Lakeview location opened on July 12 and regular hours (1 to 7pm Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 5pm Sunday) began on July 16.
