Akira, the YWCA Throwing a Party to Honor Female Entrepreneurs

Akira in Hyde Park and the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago are hosting an event on August 8 to honor Akira founder Erikka Wang, Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique owner Teresa Ging, and former Telemundo broadcaster and creator of TKK Collection Cosmetics Tsi-Ki Felix.

The party, which kicks off at 6pm at the store and will run through 9pm, will feature free wine and snacks, wardrobe consultations, 10% discounts on all non-sale items, makeovers from TKK Cosmetics and free cupcakes from Sugar Bliss.

A portion of sales from the evening will benefit the YWCA and its efforts to combat racism and empower women. For more details or to RSVP, click here.
