Anti-crime group Guardian Angels handed out fliers on Tuesday to Magnificent Mile shoppers warning them to stay safe on what they've dubbed "Muggers Mile," the Tribune reports. The move was in response to a mugging that occurred in the area on Friday night. Chicago's downtown area continues to be safe, and while there have been a few isolated incidents, police have responded quickly, making arrests before they become a larger problem." [Chicago Trib]
