Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
You've got your cross-body satchel, sensible-but-stylish flats and a week's worth of sun block (you do have sun block, right?). But if you're still missing a little something for your Lolla-weekend getup, cancel your lunch plans and head to Michigan Ave.
After introducing LollaShop last year, the folks behind the juggernaut music festival are at it again. Open through next Monday, the new-and-improved pop-up shop at 332 South Michigan Ave is stocked with everything from Gap's official Lollapalooza tee to colorful shoes from BucketFeet and perfectly hipster-y hats from Goorin Bros.
Also on offer: hair chalking from Blowtique, custom goods from Heritage Bicycles General Store and free classes from Flat-Out Yoga on Saturday and Sunday mornings (if you're doing Vinyasa by 8am on Lolla weekend?well, we sun-salute you.) Oh, and how sweet is this: There will also be special Lollapalooza cupcakes from Magnolia.
If you never head south of North Michigan Ave, stop by the new LollaCart at the Shops at North Bridge. On the shopping center's first floor, the handy cart has the festival's official tee and other branded gear.—Jenny Berg
