Fast-growing market The Vintage Garage has announced it will be returning to its parking garage home this month on July 21 with a new theme: rockabilly and tiki. "Rockabilly is all about the '50s," said one of the event's producers. "It's a subculture and a way of life, a remnant of the '50s that remains today." Plus, she remarked, "It'll be nice to bring a bit of the tropics in as well. Tiki items make great accent pieces."

According to a flier, this month's event will also feature a "best-dressed Rockabilly contest" whose winners will receive gift cards to local businesses such as the Broadway Antiques Market and Shake Rattle Read. As always, the market will open at 9am and admission is $3. They'll also be hosting a flash sale with special deals before the event via their Facebook page on Tuesday, July 16 from 8 to 9pm.
