Bucktown District Prepping a Big Damen Ave Block Party

The North Bucktown District has released some deets about the area's debut summer soiree, a shopping and dining block party.

The event will take place on Wednesday, July 24 from 6 to 8pm and the salons and boutiques that line Damen Avenue between Armitage and Webster will offer up shopping promotions while neighborhood restaurants and cafes will have snacks for sampling.

Taking part in the fun are local spots Comfy Fitness, G Boutique, One Hour Tees, Radiance Fine Jewelry, Remarked Salon, Valentia, virtu and vive la femme. Food, desserts and drinks will be provided by Babylon, Jack & Gingers, Lil Guys, Red Door, Red June, Starbucks, The Bristol and Tipsycake. More will undoubtedly join; balloons will mark participating businesses.
