Ever since Roy's Furniture tragically burned down in May 2012, we've kept our ears open for where they'd set up shop next. Here's what we're hearing: They're hoping for a Labor Day weekend opening in their old Lincoln Park location at 2455 N. Sheffield Avenue. Red Eye reports that the new store will feature large windows to maximize natural light, which allows customers to view the colors accurately. On our trip past the site, we found the still very-much-under-construction space set for two floors on an expansive corner lot.
We're excited that they'll be back in their old space—just in time for the Depaul students' move-in.—Moira Lawler
