Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Lollapalooza isn't just about the music. It's also a democratic fashion show of sorts, and that means social media is going to be flooded with festival style selfies all weekend long.

The festival's official tag on Facebook and Instagram is #Lolla, but experts suggest adding #Lollapalooza and combining the occasion-specific tags with more general ones, like #Fashion, #Style, #wiw and #ootd (those are "What I wore" and "Outfit of the day') to increase your visibility. Want to give us a shoutout? Then add the hashtag #RackedStyle to your photos and videos, and maybe your #festivalstyle will end up on our front page.

The team behind the fest itself will be sharing scenes from the shows as well. Tag the official Instagram for your chance to be featured across jumbotrons and on monitors during sets.

For an insider-y glimpse into the backstage lives of Lolla performers, head to their personal Instagram pages. Here are some of our favorites:
