Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
The Arts of Life, an organization dedicated to providing equal opportunity to artists with development disabilities, is having a major sale tonight at their Chicago studio location with art marked down to $20 or less.
The Chicago studio is currently home to 27 different artists, most of whom will have paintings, screen prints and other items for sale. Plus, the studio will be emptying out its archives, so the possibilities to spruce up your space are almost endless.
Support this great cause (and get some cool art for your home) from 6pm-9pm tonight only. Refreshments including lemonade and popsicles will be available, and Running and The Arts of Life Band will provide live music starting at 7pm.—Shelby Blitz
