Pilsen-based model Nikki Muffoletto is turning to Kickstarter to fund a documentary about the industry's unhealthy standards. Muffoletto was a working plus-size model until she became a personal trainer and lost 40 pounds, leaving her too small for plus-size jobs but not small enough for straight modeling. Now, she's looking for funding for a documentary called Model DIEt, in which she will film herself attempting to lose 40 pounds in 90 days.—Shelby Blitz [DNAinfo]
