Here's one more summer shopping fest to add to the list: From August 23 through 25, the American Craft Exposition will be invading Henry Crown Sports Pavilion in Evanston. The juried show will feature some 160 fine artists from across the country selling everything from jewelry and furniture to ceramics and housewares.

ACE is running a contest on its Facebook page to win free tickets, but just in case you don't win, tickets to the expo are $13 if purchased before August 19 or $15 at the door. All funds go to a great cause: ovarian cancer research at NorthShore University HealthSystem.—Shelby Blitz
