Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Pop-up shops keep popping up around here—Warby Parker, BucketFeet, and BaubleBar anyone?—but make room for one more. This one is for a good cause.
One Friday and Saturday, the the Founders' Board of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago will host its Designer Closet event at the 900 Shops. The two-day sale features new and used clothing and accessories from seriously luxurious brands (think Chanel and Prada) along with contemporary looks from Kate Spade and Vince.
Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday's are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Event proceeds will benefit the hospital, and supplies are limited, of course (um, hello Louboutins!) Below, check out a teaser of some more goods that'll be on sale. —Moira Lawler
