Bear with us as we kvetch: It's not even that chilly yet, but we've got a little breakout, a little redness, and a dash of dryness. Yep, it must be time to stock up on cool-weather skincare products. Just in time, Cos Bar of Highland Park hosts its official grand-opening party tonight. The red-carpet bash takes place from 4 to 7 p.m., and there will be reps on hand from lines such as Ramon Monegal and Natura Bissé.
If you can make it out there tonight, great—a percentage of proceeds from purchases will benefit the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center. But in case you're booked, we asked the Cos Bar staffers to recommend some skincare products to guide us through these tricky times of quick-changing temps. And lucky us, you can buy them all online. Take a look at the makeup pro's picks below.
- Ricki recommends the Amore Pacific Time Response Eye Renewal Cream, $260. The anti-aging cream shows wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles who's boss.
- Ricki also loves the By Terry CellulaRose Brightening Cream, $117. The anti-aging and correcting serum has flower acids that aid cell renewal.
- Toni thinks that Natura Bissé's Diamond Life Infusion, which claims to give skin a luminous, youthful glow, is a real gem. (And at $590, we sure hope it is!)
- Terri also swears by the Natura Bissé High Density Lift Cream, $290, which fills expression lines and wrinkles.
