Henry & Belle's Fall Denim Has Velvet Flocking, Cherry Hues

For happy hour this eve, why not trade in the cocktail lounge for The Denim Lounge? Henry & Belle, the Chicago-based women's denim line, is hitting the Gold Coast shop tonight for a trunk show that runs from 5:00 to 8:00. Guests will get drinks and bites, a 20 percent discount on all purchases, and the fuzzy glow from a little light do-gooding: a portion of the evening's proceeds will go to Imerman Angels.

But, back to the basics: let's talk Henry & Belle's fall denim collection. The brand has rolled out more than 50 new styles, which start at $148 and include skinny ankle-cut jeans in hues such as pine bronze and orchid. Cuts range from sleek and micro-flared to tapered-boyfriend, and then there are the wild ones.

A brand rep cites dark-cherry-ombre hues, zipper detailing, velvet flocking, side-striped prints, and motorcycle-inpired looks as key trends for fall. Take a look at some of the styles below, and then let us know how you're doing up denim this season.
