Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last week, we advised you to brush up on your French to welcome Sandro to Oak Street. Now, it sounds like the French invasion will be here before you can say "baguette." A rep from Sandro told us that the slated opening date is December 2nd, just in time for your holiday wish list.

The shop will mirror the style of the first-ever Sandro boutique in Paris, and have a modern-yet-refined look. The Chicago shop was designed by the architecture and design firm BOZARTHFORNELL and will have a Scandinavian-inspired look. And now for the reason why you'll stop by: those gorgeous French fripperies. Take peek at a few styles that will be available come December. Here's hoping you're as into moody hues as we are. —Moira Lawler
