If there's ever a reason to wear a studded Bebe top post 2000, this is it: Our very own Wicker Park store has shut down. We received a tip about the close, and it was confirmed in a story from DNAinfo. To be fair, the store was a bit of a misfit in the neighborhood—a mall staple in an area known for its independent retailers. The Lincoln Park location of the same chain may fare better, thanks to the large presence of college students in that area. DNAinfo reports that a sign outside the newly closed store reads: "We've loved our time here on Damen Avenue. Although we're closed, we're still nearby." [DNAinfo]
