The French fashion gods have answered our pleas: Zadig & Voltaire is moving into Chicago. We'd first heard they were coming in May 2012, but as of last January, plans were on hold. Now, though, Crain's Chicago Business reports the French retailer will bring its luxurious fabrics and relaxed fits to a 3,700 square foot space at 114 E. Oak Street. Expect the doors to open next spring for their sixth store in the U.S. We'll be waiting with open arms.—Moira Lawler
