Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Internet eyewear darling Warby Parker is rolling into Chicago on Thursday as part of their Warby Parker Class Trip. Check out the eyeglasses in person at their kickoff party from 7pm to 10pm at Salvage One (1840 W. Hubbard Street). As you try on their vintage-inspired styles, you can hear Chicago band BlahBlahBlah and snack on food and drinks. Can't make it? Visit them at W. Division Street and N. Hoyne Street on Wednesdays through Saturdays until October 13th.—Moira Lawler
