We told you a few months ago about a certain unexpected — yet totally exciting — shoe collab that would come rolling through Chicago for a limited time. We're talking, of course, about Karl Lagerfeld's joint venture with Melissa. Yeah, Melissa — you know, that quirky-cute shoe brand that pays homage to the jellies you wore years and years ago.
Though earlier reports said this would debut on September 5, a rep for space519 (home to the collection's Chicago pop-up) told us that we'll have to wait just a little bit longer. The shoes will hit the shelves the evening of next Thursday, September 12. This means they'll be available for sale on Friday. Luckily, the store will celebrating this arrival in style, with a party that'll take place the night of 12th. Interested in being among the first to see this collection in the...uh, plastic? Here are all the party deets.
