Groupon is testing out a new pilot program in Chicago and San Francisco. Called "Local Pickup Deals," the program helps retailers unload surplus stock by offering it to shoppers for a discounted rate. Customers order the products (which could include anything from a shirt dress to bar stools) online, then pick them up at the local shop. [Re/Code]
