Local designer Elise Bergman is hosting her first-ever sample and studio sale at the former Roslyn space tomorrow and Sunday. "With the launch of the Elise Bergman Studio at Roslyn in 2009, the boutique has long been the primary location for me to showcase my designs," she explained. "Moving out of the space prompted a major clean-up and in addition to markdowns on merchandise from current and past seasons, I will be selling samples, tons of sewing and jewelry supplies, and offering discounts on custom orders."
Budding designers take note: studio items will include hundreds of yards of silks, wools, and vintage prints; there will also be notions including zippers and trims, jewelry supplies, fixtures, displays, and more. "Tons of great items for designers, crafters, vintage lovers, and the creatively inclined," Bergman said. The sale runs from noon to 5 p.m. each day.
