Ever since Once came along, we've had a soft spot for piano stores. (If you haven't seen the movie, please take care of that ASAP.) So, our heartstrings were tugged when we heard that a Steinway & Sons Gallery is now open on the sixth level of The 900 Shops. Part of a group of factory-owned showrooms, the gallery allows visitors to pop in and view, listen to—or play— the stately instruments.

The piano gallery is on the same level as the new School of the Art Institute of Chicago gallery, so could this floor of The 900 Shops be transforming into a hidden cultural hotspot of sorts? Let's see what opens there next.
